RECENT NEWS:

*10/4/08:  The site is going over a new makeover with the hopes of revitaliizing the sites activity!  Please be patient as I goof around a bit and I hope you enjoy all the changes!

*8/30/08:  Due to my chaotic schedule, I have decided to make the Guestbook the main source for prayer requests.  For this reason, I have renamed the guestbook "Prayer Requests".  Hopefully this will make it easier for all of us to find the most recent prayer requests.  I apologize for any confusion!

*7/28/08: I am working to create another youtube video.  If you are a Friend or the parent/guardian of one and would like your picture used, please email me ASAP.  The video should be created by the end of next week.

*7/28/08:I know things have been a little "off" with the site lately.  I am trying to get things back on track so please bear with me!  I was wondering if people have found the featured Friend application helpful.  I would like to keep this feature updated each month, but do not want to take time away from other things if people do not check it.  If you have any feedback, please email me at: aandjfriends@gmail.com  Thank you!

*4/27/08:  There is a new resource page.  If you know of someone who is doing something that would be beneficial to the families, please let them know we can post their information on this site.  This includes but is not limited to: prayer blankets/shawls, happy mail sites, financial help, etc.

*Laura, the webmaster has a new email.  Please go to the contact page for the updated address.

*Heather (Asher and Jacob's Mommy) and I are looking into coming together to revamp the chat sessions.  Heather thought it would be a neat idea to start having topical sessions.  If you have any ideas on things you would like to discuss, please email them to me.  We are thinking of having some specially geared toward Angel families, families battling, and for prayer partners (others would be geared towards all).

*PLEASE REMEMBER!  Sites need to be registered before being posted on this site.  Please do not leave websites in the guestbook unless they are already on the list.  When you do this, you are not respecting the family's privacy.  I do not mind posting prayer requests for those not on the site, as long as they are general enough that the families privacy is respected.  This means no last names and no websites unless they are news stories.  Thank you, and I apologize if this is frustrating.  It is solely for the safety of the families and this site.

*If you have not already seen it, please take a look at the new regulations for adding a new site.  Go to the Add your Family section.

*I found an interesting statistic this week about our site!  One of the wonderful things about this new server is I can check out the statistic of visits to our site, from what pages are viewed most frequently, what countries visit us most, and what links bring the most visits to our site.  Today I found out over 76% of the visits come from links found in guestbooks.  The other leaders include searches on yahoo or google, and right behind that is all you wonderful prayer partners who post links on your personal blogs!  So, please continue to include our link on your myspace and blogs, and please, please...continue to add a link from Asher and Jacob's Friends when you sign guestbooks.  This just goes to show the power of spreading the word, doesn't it?! :)
